Steps:
* Start XChat. If you have not downloaded XChat yet, you can download it from [http://www.xchat.org/ here].
* When the Network List dialog comes up, type in your Nick name.

* In the Networks list, select Freenode. (It is nearly half way down the list.)
* Click Connect.

* When the Connection Complete window comes up (see below), click "Join this channel" and type in the box "#lug-jaipur".

* Click OK.
* You are now connected to the LUG-Jaipur IRC channel.
